Climb a Rock Photo Policy

Join forces in bringing the rock climbing world beta beyond belief. You can share with the world your climbing experience at Climb a Rock by submitting a photograph for publication on this Web site. We accept many types of photos including rock and ice climbing, mountaineering and nature shots. If your photo is accepted and published by Climb a Rock, you will receive free exposure as both climber's and photographer's names are listed. You will also be supporting the very best resource for rock climbers everywhere. Persons submitting photos must understand that not all photos will be accepted. Climb a Rock reserves the right to publish photos at its sole discretion. In addition, it is the submitting person's responsibility to ensure that all fields of data are correct and true, such as climber's name, photographer's name, location, route rating, etc., and that they are not violating any existing copyrights. All photos must be submitted electronically via e-mail file attachments (.zip & .sit compression is fine). The file must be .jpg. The photo should be at least 72 DPI and should be at least 640 pixels by 480 pixels, preferably taken with a digital camera. However, scanned prints can also be submitted if a high quality scanner is used. Prints that are mailed in will not be accepted nor mailed back. Please do not click this link until your photo is in electronic form, ready to be attached to an email. You may submit previously published photos as long as they were originally produced by you and there are no copyright issues.
